Never Lose Your Astro C40 Again

How To Use Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5

If you're like me and purchased an Astro C40 Tournament Controller and you are wondering how to use the Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5 I got the answer for you. So stay tuned to SLA (Streaming Live Academy) for the answer near the conclusion of this article, but first let me provide a little the background.

The Astro C40 controller is an excellent pro controller for pro gamers or even gamers who are really serious on PS4 that want to to have something that is as excellent as that of the Xbox Elite Series controller is. The controller was released prior to the controller, and it was fantastic, but it's lost some of its cool and great however it is still an excellent controller, above average for sure.

The problem is that Sony decided to nuke older controllers under the so-called"progress" name. Astro, the company has come out on Reddit thru a representative saying that it is due to Sony that they cannot upgrade the controller. The controller doesn't work for PlayStation 5 with PlayStation 5 games, however it will work when playing PlayStation 4 titles .

Besides them replying to such a cultured users name, I applaud the people who replied and for notifying us. Link to post can be found on the image or here . I personally will not be able to find a PS5 soon, so I'm not too worried, but personally I prefer the feel and feel of using the Astro C40 controller over the Sony PS5 controller and hearthstats.net the haptic feedback seems dope and game changing to a good degree but it's not something you should.

My issue with PS5 controller is that the controller doesn't have paddles and the joysticks are constructed in a way I don't like since I personally preference to that Xbox Controller joystick layout a lot more. Tell us if you are in agreement by posting your thoughts in the socials under SLA and Streaming Live Academy.

There is hope though and, as I said at the start of this article, I'll answer the question : How to Use Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5 because it's possible. It is possible to use the Astro C40 controller for the PS5 while playing PS4 games, however to play those PS5 games, you'll need the Cronus Zen, a third-party device. the Cronus Zen.

This tiny device will enable users to connect their Astro C40 TR controller with PS5's new PS5 natively. I invite you to go and read about the details and then decide for yourself whether it is worth the purchase. I personally will probably do it when I buy a PS5 and will share my findings to you via SLA as well as my own YouTube channel so stick around.

In the meantime, I'm hoping Sony will recognize that not every game will wish to or will choose to use the new haptic feedback feature. They seem to be hell bound to ensure that all games do and I can't blame them for I wouldn't want them to be in an Apple 3D Touch situation on their hands. And the technology is really cool.

It's only that I know it is not a must and it's not something you'll really require in the majority of games, so requiring everyone to use it or else the controller doesn't seem right to me. If I decide to purchase the PlayStation 5 they might have already reversed course, but we shall see then. The only thing we currently have are the Cronus Zen as well as PS4 games in our PS5 controller.
